Mae Myrtle Hess, 85, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Shenandoah Center in Charles Town.

Born April 23, 1932, in Berkeley County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Thurman Brannon and Mable Barrett Brannon.

She was a member of the Full Gospel Church and was formerly employed with Norborne Day Care Center.

She is survived by two sons, Russell A. Butts, Jr. and Larry Richard Hess, Jr.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Buddy, Leroy, Linwood and Lyle Brannon; three sisters, Opal Edwards, Elva Smith and Evelyn Miller.

Service and Interment will be private.
