Obituary for Cleve Milton Elrod

Cleve Milton Elrod, 73, of Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born November 10, 1944, in Joiner, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Cleve Franklin Elrod and Susie Maudine Hardy Elrod.
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Joan Goodfellow Elrod; four sons, Cleve Franklin Elrod and wife Tara, Christopher Milton Elrod and wife Marge, David Edward Elrod, Robert Charles Elrod and Karen; two daughters, Carol Jean Berry and husband, Shannon, Kathie Ann Arnold and husband Christian; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Jon Robin Hood, and Phillip Harrison Hood; and a sister in-law, Alice Jean Goodfellow.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Ada Sue Purser.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Homes' South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2017 at the chapel in Inwood, Interment will be held in Quantico National Cemetery at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.
