Obituary for Lewis Randolph Jackson

Lewis Randolph Jackson,78, of Kearneysville, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2018, at Clary Grove Nursing Center, Martinsburg.

He was born July 15, 1939, in Kearneysville, to the late James and Isabel Jackson.

He was employed by Royal Vendors where he worked for many years. An avid believer in hard work, Lewis could often be found performing yard work and miscellaneous engine maintenance on his beloved Chevy Monte Carlo after a hard days work. He enjoyed watching all sports, including college and professional football, particularly his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers and the New York Giants.

His wife, Naomi Elizabeth Jackson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Kendall Jackson, currently residing in Nairobi, Kenya; daughter, Devale McNickle of Martinsburg; and son, James Jackson, of Kearneysville; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Additionaly, he is survived by his brothers, George Jackson, of Martinsburg; brother Robert Jackson, of Martinsburg, John Jackson, of Hagerstown, MD, and James Jackson, of Fayettville, NC and Berkley Jackson of New York, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was a member at Prosperity Baptist Church in James Town, WV, his pastor Robert L. Jackson. Also preceded in death by Charles Jackson of New York, David Jackson of Martinsburg, Isabelle Jackson, one sister of New York, and Author Jackson of New York.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
