Obituary for Shane Lee Seal

Shane Lee Seal, 40 of Martinsburg went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 9, 2018 at Berkeley Medical Center. He was the son of the late Harold Francis Seal Jr. and Alma Lorraine Stroop Seal. Shane graduated from Jefferson High School Class of 1996. He was a service tech at Preferred Services. He enjoyed metal detecting, hunting, fishing, and loved to cook. He lived and breathed FOOTBALL and was a die hard ''REDSKIN FAN''. Shane was also a real Civil War buff. He was a big man with a big heart who absolutely adored his wife. He would do anything for anyone in need. He was the best friend you could ever hope for. He always had jokes that will be missed so much.
He is survived by his loving wife of fourteen years, Emily Price McLaughlin Seal, one sister Mickie Viands and husband Darren, mother and father in law, Lee and Linda McLaughlin, brother in law Ryan McLaughlin and wife Laura, sister in law, Megan McLaughlin, uncle Berry Stroop and wife Liz, aunts Joyce Henderson and husband Antonio and Julia Warner and husband Danny, one very special cousin that was like a sister to him, Bridgett Seal, nieces and nephews; Summer, Austin, and Elijah Viands, Eva, Mia, Addison, Carson, and Jade McLaughlin, Alyssa and Lyla Haberman, numerous cousins and special friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by aunt Carol Lantz and niece Kaelyn Haberman.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Homes South Berkeley Chapel with the Brother Mike Weller officiating. Interment will be in the Edge Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Relay for Life, Team Pandas Who Care Jefferson County Relay for Life in honor of his mother and Aunt Carol.
