Obituary for Stephen Kent Johnson
Stephen Kent Johnson, 68, of Martinsburg, WV passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at his residence.
Stephen was born February 3, 1950 in Martinsburg, WV and the son of the late Harold Thuron Johnson and Evelyn Teressa Jacobs Johnson.
Stephen was a Hot Rod Enthusiast and enjoyed drag racing, building classic cars and going to Cruise Ins. He loved golfing, going on cruises, and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by one son Mark Johnson of Martinsburg, WV; one grandchild Lauren; one great-grandchild Kollyn; two brothers Richard Johnson of Martinsburg, WV; Harold Douglas and wife Jeanette of Falling Waters, WV.
He was preceded in death by four brothers; Harvey and Robert Johnson; Ralph and Sonny Hamilton; two sisters Evelyn Schoppert and Susan Butts.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with Robert Porter officiating, assisted by Rev. Chuck Donivan. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Horses with Hearts or JUMP (Junior Mentoring Program).
