Rusty “RJ” Adams, 64, of Martinsburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.

Rusty was so excited to move on to the next journey-to the next life. He lived a passionate life, true to himself. He admonished us to “Live Better, Love More and Make America Kind Again”.

Rusty was born on July 15, 1953 in Colorado Springs, CO and was the son of the late Frederick Adams and Delores Gosage Downs. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a musician.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Gatt; two sisters Rhonda Pryde of California and Rhoda Henderson of Virginia and one brother Jason Downs of Colorado.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home. Receiving friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Dress comfortably and colorfully as Rusty would want you to be. In lieu of flowers, because of his love for animals, please send contributions to your local rescue shelter.
