Obituary for Louise G. Vanorsdale (Stephens)

Louise G. Stephens Vanorsdale, 89, of Dundalk, MD passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018.

She was born on September 27, 1928 in Shepherdstown, WV and was the daughter of the late Ayler Stephens and Agnes Crompton Stephens.

She was a crossing guard for 35 years for the students of Sacred Heart of Mary School in Dundalk, MD. She was a member of the Patapsco United Methodist Church in Dundalk.

She is survived by one son; Robert Vanorsdale of Baltimore, MD; two daughters; Linda Evans of Baltimore, MD and Diana Fries of Glen Burnie, MD; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Vanorsdale and twelve siblings making her the last of her immediate family.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1:30 PM at Brown Funeral Home with Reverend Lynn Wilson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
