Obituary for Gilbert R. McDaniel Sr.
Gilbert R. McDaniel, Sr., 54, of Inwood, WV passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018.
Gilbert was born on July 18, 1964 in Martinsburg, WV and was the son of Donna Sims McDaniel and the late Adrian Sims.
He is survived by his wife Mary Frances McDaniel; four sons; Gilbert McDaniel, Jr., Austin McDaniel, Devin McDaniel and David Basore; four daughters; Shelly McDaniel, Melissa McDaniel, Megan McDaniel and Kaitlyn McDaniel; seven grandchildren, one of which they raised, Robert McDaniel; two brothers; Adrian Sims, Jr., and Clifford Sims and four sisters; Tammy Barrick, Kay Sims, Tina Sims and Stella Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Alfred and Roselee McDaniel.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.on Saturday, August 18, 2018 and Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel.
Services will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Nelson Stanley officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Needmore.
