E. Irene Slonaker, 86, of Glengary passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

Born January 26, 1932 in Hampshire County, WV she was the daughter of the late Earl Robert Bohrer and Mamie Ethel Dellinger.

She was a member of Central Chapel Church for 68 years; where she served as a long-time Sunday School teacher and active in various ministries.

She had been employed with Perfection Garment and BonTon.

She is survived by one son, Clarence William Slonaker, Jr. and wife Cathy of Glengary; three daughters, Vickie Diana Davis and husband Donald of Gerrardstown, Belinda Irene Linton and husband Ed of Glengary, Lisa Faith Shanholtz and husband Dwain of Glengary; eight grandchildren, Marissa, Michael, Christen, Wesley, Brian, Rachel, Amanda, and William; fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Odell Bohrer of DE; and one sister, Retta Jane Staubs of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence William Slonaker; two brothers, Robert and Lewis Bohrer; grandson, Philip Linton; and grandson-in-law, RJ Kackley.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Central Chapel Church, 2546 Back Creek Valley Road, Hedgesville, WV 25427.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 with Pastor Keith Walsworth officiating at Central Chapel Church. Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
