Bruce William Everhart, Sr., 83, of Inwood, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Summers Nursing & Rehab Center in Hinton, WV.

Born January 14, 1935 in Jones Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Burton Hoover and Nancy Myers Everhart.

He was a retired owner operator of Tri State Truck Repair.

He is survived by six sons, Bruce L., Dale B., Ronald W., William, Bruce W., Jr., and Luke A. Everhart; a daughter, Flora “Sissy” Frick; a step-son, Jay Wright of Ohio, two step-daughters, Millie Barrett of Inwood and Theresa Wright; fourteen grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; a sister, Bethel Chase of Martinsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Everhart; two step-sons, John Wright and John Wright, Jr.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2018 the South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Pastor Paul Buracker officiating.

Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
