John Wayne Newcomb, 82, of Inwood passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his residence.

Born July 15, 1936 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Dayton and Laura Faircloth Newcomb.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Newcomb Myers; a daughter, Cathy Myers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Jack, Donald, Harry, and Bud Newcomb; and five sisters, Carrie Hoffmaster, Eva Lou Butts, Anna Hoffmaster, Martha McConnely, and Relda Newcomb.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.
