Joyce “Tootsie” Anne Dent Lamp, 76, of Martinsburg passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Berkeley Medical Center after suffering through a long illness.

Born September 2, 1942 in Jacksonville, FL she was the daughter of the late Clyde William and Emma Morrison Dent.

She was a committed follower of Jesus and a member of First Baptist Church, Martinsburg.

She was a volunteer with C-CAP and Loaves & Fishes. Joyce was a loving wife and mother committed to raising three generations of children. She enjoyed oil painting, bird watching, and loved spending time with babies and taking scenic car rides.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Calvin Lamp; their children, Rick Lamp, Kelli Fraley, Traci Brooks, and Matt Lamp; six grandchildren Jessica Slevin, Emily Lamp, Abby Lamp, Madison Brooks, Peyton Brooks, and Cass Fraley; and two great-grandchildren, Amaree and Anna; one brother, Hugh Dent; three sisters, Carol Gruver, Dale Hough, and Gay “Cookie” Flatness; and several nieces and nephews.

Services and interment are private.
