Allen W. Parker, 76, of Martinsburg, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Clary Grove.
Born November 15, 1941 in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Parker and Esther Elizabeth Snowdeal Parker.
He was a member of the Shenandoah Bible Baptist Church. He retired from Morgan County Recycling and was a carpenter all his life.
Allen painted the gold dome at the courthouse, the ceiling for the Apollo Theater, he worked for the Adam Stephens House and Boydville.
He is survived by two sons, Michael and Rodney Parker; five sisters, Nancy Mong, Alice Faircloth, Linda Duke, Patsy McBee, and Bonnie Dillow.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Emery.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Jack Rudy officiating.
Interment will be held in Rosedale Cemetery.
