Charles “Charlie” Norman Malin, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018.

Charlie was born on November 15, 1946 in St. Louis Missouri and was the son of the late Maurice Malin and Ima June Bugg Malin.

He served as a photographer is the U.S. Marine Corps. He was of the United Methodist faith. He obtained a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Rhode Island School of Design. He was a Professor in Arts Departments at Frostburg State College and Georgia State University. Charlie was respected and loved by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lynn Jeffries Malin, one daughter, Suzanne Jones and husband Rob; three grandchildren, Keith Charles, Carter and Jenna; two sisters, Pamela Kohanek and Sandra White.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Harmony United Methodist Church, 9455 Williamsport Pike, Falling Waters, WV 25419 with Pastor Terri Cofiell officiating.
