Obituary for Leon Evert Files
Leon Evert Files, 90, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018.
Leon was born on March 5, 1928 in Johnsontown, WV and was the son of the late Lloyd Files and Mary Elizabeth Cross Files.
He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and retired from the Railroad.
He is survived by one daughter, Christine Crawford and her husband Russell, one grandson, Zachary Crawford and one brother, Walter Files.
In addition to his wife Mary Sperow Files, he was preceded in death by four brothers and 2 sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 a,m. at Blairton United Methodist Church, 72 Upper Rd, Martinsburg, WV 25404 with Pastor Gary Gourley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blairton United Methodist Church Building Fund at PO Box 1365, Martinsburg, WV 25402.
