Obituary for Florine Virginia Bowers (Faircloth)
Florine Virginia Bowers, 85, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 while under the care of Hospice at her home.
Born January 1, 1934 in Berkeley County, WV she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Bessie Buzzard Faircloth.
She is survived by her children, James Edwards, Carolyn Swartwood (Rick), Virginia Kay Puffenberger (Randy); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Gregory; and step-children, Gwen Milburn (David), Norman Bowers, III, and Kim Gray.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman H. Bowers, Jr.; two daughters, Tina Ferguson and Stephanie Edwards; two sons, Roger and David Bowers; sisters, Ethel , Rosa Lee Myers, and Betty Myers; and brothers, Gilbert “Buck” Faircloth and Allen “Dink” Faircloth.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:00AM at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Oscar Motilal officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
