Obituary for Linda Lee Steorts (Siemiaczko)
Linda Lee Steorts, 76, of Martinsburg, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at Canterbury Center.
Born January 28, 1943 in Holly Grove, WV she was the daughter of the late William Siemiaczko and Ruby Tye Siemiaczko.
She was a graduate of East Bank, WV. She began working as a nanny in New York City; and a car hop “The Rockett” where she met the love of her life, Philip, in Smithers, WV. She was a supervisor for Perfection Garment and later worked for Quad Graphics.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Dillard and husband, Kevin, of Moyock, NC and Shannon Weber and husband, Brian, of Gerrardstown; four grandchildren, Sean Dillard , Caitlin Dillard, Addalyn and Kayla Weber; one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Foster Freeman; brother, William Siemiaczko of Charleston; and sister, Michelle Vandell and husband, Bob of Mayhan, WV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Wayne Steorts; one brother, Robert Lane; and one sister, Jeanette Jeanine Hornsby.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with John Kidwell officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
