Obituary for Roy Wesley Butts Sr.
Roy “Wesley” Butts, Sr., 76, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his residence.
Born August 9, 1942 in Berkeley County, WV he was the son of the late James William Butts, Sr. and Mary Ellen Myers Butts.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Peggy” Vanorsdale Butts; one son, Roy Wesley Butts, Jr.; two daughters, April Harris Butts and Stefanie Butts; six grandchildren, Brandan Corbin, Roy Butts, III, James William Butts, Roman Saldana, Daniel Saldana, and Jessica Saldana; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Freddie Gene Butts; and one sister, Mary Louise McGown.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tiffany Corbin; and nine siblings.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Edward Myers officiating.
Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
