Dorothy Lee Jainniney Kirby- Poole age 83 went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on May 21, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville WV.

Dorothy was born in Ronceverte WV on Jan 7, 1936. She was a dedicated wife and mother and home maker. She taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church of Inwood, WV for many years. She loved to play the organ and the piano. She instructed the grandchildren and those who wanted to learn on how to play. She loved to sing and loved music. Singing with her children and grandchildren every opportunity she had. From lullabies for the babies to 50’s rock and roll and she also loved the old hymns. Her favorite being “In the Garden” and old Elvis gospel music. A favorite song to sing was “Sweet Chariot” while she was swinging on her swing. She loved flowers with Roses being her favorite. Her favorite color was red. She was a wonderful cook with her specialty being homemade macaroni and cheese that has yet to be duplicated. We all try but no one to date has been able to match her perfect recipe. She was a beautiful woman who was always dressed to the nines. Loved to shop. She loved to get her hair done so that she was looking her best at all times. She was like living with June Cleaver from the Beaver. Up every morning early, bathed, and dressed with her make up on.
