Obituary for Debra Louise Lough (Oliver)

Debra Louise Lough, 68, of Martinsburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

Born October 22, 1950 in Bethesda, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William Pearlie Oliver and Elizabeth Rebecca Spong King.

She retired after thirty-four years of service as a health technician at the VA Medical Center and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW of Charles Town.

She is survived by her two sons, Charles W. Lough and fiance’ Regina Waldron of Inwood and Jon C. Lough and wife, Tonya of Bunker Hill; daughter, Jacqueline E. Sowers and husband, James of Martinsburg; seven grandchildren, Matthew Scott Lough, Harley Lough, Brittany A. Sowers, James Sowers, Jr., Chance & Bria Lough, and Aaliyah Getts; brother, Steven King and wife, Mary of Gettysburg, PA; and two sisters, Joanne Kime of Bunker Hill and Jean Powell and husband, Anthony of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Joseph Lough.

Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1:00PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
