Claude Shelton Phillips, age 62, from Martinsburg, WV passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at WVU Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV. He was born November 18, 1956 in Welch, WV and brought home to Bradshaw, WV to meet his 3 siblings. He was the youngest child of the late Claude E. Phillips and the late Grethel Church Phillips. He attended public school in Mount Hope, WV, private school at Greenbrier Military Academy and graduated from Jefferson High School in Shenandoah Junction, WV. He continued his education at Glenville State College and Marshall University before completing his associate degree in Liberal Arts from Blue Ridge Community College in Martinsburg.

Mr. Phillips is survived by the love of his life, Cheryl Grove; one brother, Stephen S. Phillips (Sonja) of Chatsworth, GA; one sister, Barbara Phillips Gibson (James) of Harpers Ferry, WV and numerous nieces and nephews living in WV, NC, SC, GA and Saudi Arabia.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel G. Phillips (Dabney) from Summersville, WV and an infant brother, Gregory D. Phillips.
