Obituary for Barbara Jean Chase (Pierce)
Barbara Jean Pierce Chase, 64, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019.
Born January 29, 1955 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Clifton Lee Piece, Sr. and Josephine Barron Pierce.
She is survived by her husband Robert Chase of 39 years of marriage; one daughter Melissa Chase and fiance' Chris Thomas; one granddaughter Isabella Thomas, of Harpers Ferry, WV; and one sister, Edna Wilson and husband Kenneth Wilson, of Martinsburg, WV.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that whom she loved very much. Along with one of many sister-in-laws,brother-in-laws, her adopted grandchildren's, and adopted daughter.
Barbara enters her beautiful journey with her late siblings; brother's Douglas D. Pierce and Clifton L. Pierce, Jr.; and sister Mary K. White.
Barbara loved her husband and daughter greatly. She loved her granddaughter very much and that was her world. Also, Barbara was a big Elvis Presley fan. She loved her job as a cook at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg and the people she work with.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Services and interment are private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the funeral home on behalf of the family.
