Obituary for David Alfred Cox
David Alfred Cox, 70, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at his residence.
Born October 3, 1948 in Searcy, AR, he was the son of the late James Robert Cox and Julia Mae Salmon Cox.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn Whittenburg Cox; two sons, Jeff Anderson and wife Ginny, and James Cox; and two daughters, Stephanie Taylor and Jennifer Cox Ramirez and husband Roberto; two brothers, Mike Cox and wife Karen and Larry Cox and wife Kim; one sister, Connie Chambers and husband Chuck; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David A. Cox; one brother, Denny Cox; two sisters, Mary Wise and Lola Mobley.
Service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
