Obituary for Kenneth R. "Shorty" McFillan
Kenneth R. "Shorty" McFillan, 90, formerly of Inwood, WV, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 in Cameron, WV.
Born March 5, 1929 in Berkeley County, WV, he was the son of the late James H. and Grace Lee May McFillan.
He is survived by one daughter, Diana Grace Moyer and husband, George of Bunker Hill; three grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise M. McFillan. He was the last of his immediate family, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Marshall, James L., Robert E. McFillan, and M. Victor McFillan, Sr.; and four sisters, Ada Smith, Maizy Allen, Helen Kerns, and Mary Riggs.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at South Berkeley Chapel with Rev. Dawn Reidy officiating. Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
