Obituary for Joshua Lee Bowman
Joshua Lee Bowman, 36, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019.
Born on February 4, 1983 in Glen Burnie, MD, he was the son of Pastor Debbie Bowman and John Rex Bowman.
He was a member of Harvest Lighthouse Ministries, American Legion Riders, and the Vio de Cristo Men’s Retreat. He was a volunteer for the food bank.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Sue Bowman; three sisters, Sherry Bowman Douglas, and husband Dana Douglas, Michelle Christie Dunkley, and husband David Allen Dunkley and Jennifer Lauren Bowman; brother-in-law, Gregory O.J. Rodgers; eight nieces and nephews, Kyle Austin Douglas, Dylan McCauly Dunkley, Logan McKellen Dunkley, Kullin David Douglas, Nolan McCray Dunkley, Cassandra Joy Douglas, Cody Lee Douglas and Judah London Dunkley; one grandfather, John William Bowman; mother-in-law and father-in-law Susan Yvonne Rodgers and Gregory Holman Rodgers.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11 :00 AM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood with Ernie Giancola officiating assisted by Pastor Debbie Bowman.
Interment will be at Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Riders Chapter 14 at 484 Williamsport Pike, Suite 117, Martinsburg, WV 25404.
