Obituary for Barbara E. Cogle (Hawkins)
Barbara E. Cogle, 59, of Ranson, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson surrounded by her loving family.
Born June 12, 1960 in Loudoun County, VA, she is the daughter of Edna Hawkins and the late Arbie Hawkins.
She was a homemaker and liked to spend her time with her kids and grandkids and taking care of her mother. She enjoyed shopping and yard sales and always put others before herself.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Edna Hawkins; three daughters, Edna Lee, husband Steven Sr. of Kearneysville, Kimberly Washington, husband Lamour of Ranson, and April Rickard, husband Marshall (Buddy) of Bunker Hill; seven grandkids of whom she adored, Steven Jr., Justus, Miranda, Marley, Timothy, Marshall and Paisley, and one on the way; one sister, Joyce Kulp, husband Dave; two brothers, Stony Hawkins, wife Yvonne, and Charlie Hawkins, wife Marlene; one niece and two nephews; a life-long friend, Linda Long; one dog, Tiny; and one cat, Precious.
She was preceded in death by her companion of twenty plus years, Timothy S. Long.
Services and interment are private.
