Obituary for Edward Darrell Hogbin Sr.
Edward Darrell Hogbin, Sr., 76, of Inwood passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born April 28, 1943 in Paw Paw, WV he was the son of the late Edward Drummond Hogbin and Eva Marie Childers Hogbin.
The loves of his life were his family and especially his grandchildren. He loved being outside and enjoyed the simple things in life such as fishing, orchids, and gardening.
He is survived by one son, Ted Hogbin and wife Kristy; one daughter, Erin Hogbin Stack and husband Mark; and three grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, and Owen.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Helmick, Ruby Crouse, and Eloise Rannells; and the mother of his children, Anna Marie Small Hogbin.
Family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 3:00PM at South Berkeley Chapel. Private interment will be held at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
