Obituary for Alfredo Benjamin P. Sanchez
Alfredo Benjamin P. Sanchez, 75, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born March 25, 1944 in Sampaloc Manila, he was the son of the late Santiago Garnade Sanchez and Blandina Perono Sanchez.
Alfredo graduated in May of 1965. He obtained a Mechanical Engineering Degree from Far Eastern Aeronautical Institute University, in Manila Philippines. He retired from U.S. Federal Service after 39 years of service. His last employment was at the U.S. Army Installation Command DPW at Fort Detrick in Fredrick, MD as a Mechanical Engineer. He loved to travel and enjoyed taking videos of his trip. His favorite story to tell was about his adventures in Alaska.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years Maria Celia Sanchez; siblings, Ruth Marie Sanchez (Chicago), Santiago Sanchez Jr. (Chicago), Roberto Sanchez (Washington State), Delia Gamboa (New Jersey), Leticia Sanchez (Chicago), and Maynard Sanchez (Chicago); and other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Bernardita Peralta Sanchez; and son, Michael Andrea (passed at 5 months old).
Service and Interment are private.
