Obituary for Margaret "Margie" Hensell (Skelly)
Margaret “Margie” Skelly Hensell, 77, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born November 20, 1942 in Berkeley County, WV she was the daughter of the late John J. Skelly, Sr. and Margaret A. Keeney Skelly.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Martinsburg.
Margie’s entire life revolved around her family. She loved and adored her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her yard and going to Emerald Isle, NC with her family and friends.
She is survived by one son, Charles “Chip” Hensell and wife, Karen and their daughters, Maggie and Ella; one daughter, Mary Jane Heffle and husband, Richard and their sons, Jordan and Chase; one brother, Joseph A. Skelly and wife, Kay; and two sisters, Mary Alice Bowers and husband, Timothy and Patricia A. Wilkes and husband, Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Hensell; and a brother, John J. Skelly, Jr.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00PM prior to the service. Interment will be private.
