Obituary for Betty Jo Custer
Betty Jo Custer, 92, of Bunker Hill passed away at home on Sunday, March 22, 2020.
Born March 27, 1927 in Bunker Hill, she was the daughter of the late Harry Mish and Ruth Miller Mish.
She was a member of the Mountain View Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by three children, Michael Custer (Sharon), Ruth May (Wayne) both of Bunker Hill, and Philip Custer (Julia) of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Alice Mae Ripley (Steve); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver N. Custer, who she married on May 8, 1948 and were wed for 69 years; two sisters, Isabelle Graham Bishop, Ruth Elizabeth Lovik; and one brother, Harry Miller Mish.
Services will be private. Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
