Rev.William Eugene "Bill"  Merki
Rev. William Eugene Merki, 81, of Martinsburg went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Clary Grove Nursing Home.

Born September 12, 1935 in Norristown, PA he was the son of the late Paul and Lea Widmyer Merki.

Rev. Merki had spent his entire life pastoring churches in PA, MD, and WV.

He is survived by his wife, Sheril Darlene McCoy Merki; two sons, Scott E. Merki and wife, Medea, Timothy P. Merki and wife, Heidi; one daughter, Lori K. Isiminger and husband, Chip; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Craig A. Merki; two brothers, Paul and Robert Merki; and one sister, Frances Merki.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 3:00PM at Otterbein United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 3:00PM prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for all who cared for Bill throughout his illness and especially the wonderful staff at Clary Grove.
