Obituary for Margaret Virginia Potts
Margaret Virginia Potts, 93., of Hagerstown, MD formerly of Woodbury Apartments of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Canterbury Center.
Born June 21, 1924 in Luray, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Potts, Sr. and Gleadith Irene Good Potts.
She was employed as a Heartland dietary aide and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Ruth Brackett and husband Carroll of Hagerstown, MD; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Leona "Snooks" Long; and three brothers, James R. Potts, Jr., Robert Potts, and John Thomas Potts who passed in infancy.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 1:30PM with Pastor Marshall Light officiating at Evergreen Cemetery in Luray, VA.
