Ernest Clinton  Tinsman, Jr.
Ernest Clinton Tinsman, Jr., 81, of Martinsburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2017 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.

Born December 29, 1936 in Whitacre, VA, he was the son of the late Ernest Clinton Tinsman, Sr. and Pearl Estella Kerns Tinsman.

He attended Rivers Edge Ministries.

He was retired as a bus driver for Berkeley Co. Schools.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Maxine Kerns Tinsman; three sons, Terrence F. Braithwaite (Colleen), and Robert W. Braithwaite (Diane) and John D. Tinsman (Barbara); six daughters, Nelda V. Sours, Pamela S. Mills (Ted), Joyce E. Miller (Larry), Faith C. Cupp, Mary A. Kipps (Kippy) and Angela R. Wingerd; 25 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Andrew T. Tinsman; and one sister, Wanda T. Loftus.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert W. Tinsman, and three sisters, Clara E. Walkinshaw, Encie V. Ward, and Linda Tinsman.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Eric Kersten and Pastor John Wood officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
