Bettyjo Diane Berry, 43 years old of Shepherdstown, WV departed this life unexpectedly on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

In addition to her mother, Kathleen Berry of Shenandoah Jct, WV she is survived by her three children, Taylor Berry, Daryl Jr. and Jacob Hockman; siblings, Angela Snyder and husband Dave of Leetown, Lloyd Berry III (Junebug) and wife Sandy of Middleway and Kevin Berry and wife Kristy of Martinsburg. Maternal Grandmother Thelma Sisler of Bartow, WV as well as nephews, Derek and Tyler Snyder, Kevin Berry Jr and nieces Nia and Karli Snyder and Ckearra and Sierra Berry. Several aunts, uncles and cousins. A friend considered as a brother “Nick Moore” and the love of her life “Daryl Hockman”.

Bettyjo was formally employed at the VA Medical Center, City Hospital and Specialty Binding in Shepherdstown. She loved her children, nieces and nepews and loved to spoil the little ones when they came around to visit. She loved watching her son Jacob play football and her boys ride their dirtbikes aand four-wheelers. She was a best friend to her daughter and shared so many fun times.She had a kind heart, loved spending time on river fishing and sitting around bond fires spending time with family and friends. Always making a friend no matter where she went. Her smile and laughter will be missed dearly by her family but never forgotten.

Bettyjo was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Ashby Berry, Jr and brother Jonathan Roy Berry.

The family would like to thank everyone that has uplifted the family in prayer, provided meals, sent cards and stopped by to pay their respects. We love and appreciate you all very much.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Destination Church located on Border Road, Kearneysville, WV on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00pm.
