Obituary for Darlene L Maupin (Largent)

Darlene L. “Largent” Maupin, 67, of Martinsburg passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at her residence.

Born February 25, 1951, in Marlow, WV, she was the daughter of the late Luther Lee and Mildred Price Largent.

She enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and fur babies, Mieko and Barney, and she loved to laugh.

She is survived by her significant other, Doug Jenkins; two daughters, Cathy and Clint Breeden and Wendy Wood; one step-daughter, Christina Jenkins; one son, Richard Maupin; four grandchildren, Dakota and Dallas Wood, Dylan Breeden, and Heather Maupin; two great granddaughters; and one grand puppy Baby Girl; seven brothers, Harry, Luther, Charlie, Marion, Frankie, Donald, and George Henry; four sisters, Christine, Mary Ann, JoAnn, and Carolyn; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Maupin; and two brothers, George and Roger.

Funeral service will be held at 3:30PM on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Fraley officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 3:30PM prior to the service.
