Jean Merceruio, 80, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018.

Jean was born on January 18, 1938 in Martinsburg, WV and was the daughter of the late Louie Clifford Collis and Virginia Elizabeth Albright.

She was a member of WMEPT American Legion Auxiliary, Whitetail Golf Course and former associate member of Big Lick Sportsmen. She was Women’s Club Champion at Stonebridge Golf Course. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

As a child she attended Blairton United Methodist Church. Later years she attended St. Augustine Catholic Church, Williamsport.

She was employed with AETNA for thirty-two years where she ended her career as the regional field supervisor.

She is survived by her husband Anthony David Merceruio; one brother Jack E. Collis; a number of nieces and nephews, including Tom and Bonnie Merceruio and Glenn and Vicki Jenkins who were her special caregivers.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Vanessa Smith, officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Panhandle Home Health, 208 Old Mill Road, Martinsburg, WV 25401 or Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
