Obituary for Elden Franklin Marple

Elden Franklin Marple, 68, of Martinsburg, WV went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 6, 2018.

Elden was born on December 15, 1949 in Winchester, VA and was the son of the late Milton E. Marple and Virginia Painter.

He was employed as a construction foreman with S. W. Rogers. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by one grandson; Bryce Elden Marple and one brother Milton E. Marple, Jr. and wife Barbara; two nephews, Milton E. Marple, III and Patrick Marple and one niece Meaghan Cook.

He was preceded in death by one son, Elden F. Marple, II and one brother; Ray Marple.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at South Berkeley Chapel of Brown Funeral Home in Inwood.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the chapel with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
