Roger L. Petry, 67, of Bunker Hill, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born January 15, 1951, in Winfield, WV, he was the son of the late Clifford Petry and Edith Eggleton Petry.
He was a self-employed carpenter. Roger was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Stone Petry; three sons, John Petry and wife, Kanette, Robert “Bobby” Petry and wife, Sherry Musselman, and Steve Petry and wife, Cindy; one daughter, Brandy Hayslette and husband, Timmy; fourteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brown Funeral Homes South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Private interment will be held at a later date.
