Wilson “Wall-Banger” Harvey Jones, 74, of Hedgesville went home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2019 at Winchester Medical Center surrounded by family.

Born June 29, 1944, in McDowell, WV, he was the son of the late John Anderson Jones and Mary Edda Addair Jones.

Wilson was a retired coal miner of McDowell County, WV.

He loved working in his garden and being outdoors. He was a member of the Church of God in Bradshall, WV, and his grandchildren were his life.

He is survived by his wife Joetta Jones, one daughter, Sabrina Kelsey; two sons, Jimmy Kennedy and David Kelsey; two brothers Robert and Donald Jones; special sister Delilah; two sisters, Nana Lou Walls and Lena Kay Jones, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Johnny, James, Edmond, and Andrew Jones.

Services and Interment are private.
