Obituary for Thelma Mattie Fowler (Byrns)

Thelma Mattie Fowler 91 of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Shenandoah Center.

Born September 29, 1925 in Fauquier County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mattie Heflin Byrns.

She is survived by three sons, Clyde Campbell of Livingston, MT, Benjamin Bryant of Baltimore, MD, Carl Bryant of Salisbury, MD; three daughters, Alice McDonald of Howard County, MD, Mary Jane Ritchie of Inwood, WV, and Virginia Fowler of Martinsburg; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Floyd Byrns, Sr. of Eastern Shore, MD; and one sister, Hazel Wilder of Westminster, MD.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 4:00PM at Brown Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 3:00PM to 4:00PM prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
